Top quality breeding for three decades! In 1986 the Witteveen family imported three of their homeland Friesian horses to Canada. At that time, a country in which few people had even seen a Friesian horse before! This family passion for quality Friesian horses grew into an International business in which they imported, bred and raised hundreds of Friesian horses during the last three decades.
It was the love of these fine animals that the Witteveen's proudly showed their crowd pleasing Friesian's all over North America for some twenty years. Today, it is still not only the love for this horse of Harry Witteveen's homeland, but also the challenge of consistently producing the best top quality standards within the breed of his heritage. Producing the best bloodlines worldwide is first and foremost in the Witteveen's breeding program. The Witteveen's accomplished a cherished dream only a handful of breeders achieve, of breeding a Worldwide approved breeding stallion - MICHIEL 442! He has now been sent to Holland, to not only have the opportunity to show in a large Sport world, but also breed and hopefully attain approval on offspring.
